Morley RFC

Turning muddy ground into something to be proud of.

Morley Rugby Football Club approached us to provide a solution for a perpetually boggy, muddy area of grass at the entrance of the tunnel onto the pitch.  We recommended a tufted monofilament grass with shock pad laid underneath to provide a 3G surface thus conforming to Regulation 22 of the World Rugby Artificial Rugby Turf Performance Specification.  As it is considered a part of the pitch not only was a shock pad installed, but it was top dressed with the recommended kiln dried sand and rubber crumb infill. We also suggested the idea of incorporating the rugby club logo into the area, functional and decorative. The club were overwhelmed by the finished product which can be seen from the stand as well as by players running onto the pitch.
